Caravan Bankside

Caravan started as a fairly small all day restaurant in Exmouth Market years ago. A very pleasant restaurant with nice dishes. Then they opened a very large restaurant in the newly developed area behind Kings Cross station (Granary Square) A very lively spot.

And now there is a 3rd Caravan restaurant in the Bankside area. A very nice restaurant in an area I like very much (and where I stay regularly)

I have eaten there once now, enjoying a dish or roasted pumpkin, miso, blue cheese and basil as a starter. My main dish was baked celeriac with oyster mushrooms and a greek fresh manouri  cheese. Both very good dishes. You can check the menu for yourself here

I have always liked the concept of Caravan, not dedicating themselves to a specific kitchen, but taking the freedom to get influenced and inspired by dishes from all over the world. And I am happy there is one in SE1 now.
