Flat Iron Square

A new food hotspot in London: Flat Iron Square. There is a lot of activity in the area around Southwark street. A number of new restaurants has opened recently, and it looks like the area is becoming more lively every time I am there.

Flat Iron Square definitely contributes to that vibe. A number of food spots, both food trucks and fixed spots bring a large diversity of food. From the Turkish dumplings of Manti to the Thai food of Ekachai. And with Bar Douro the Portuguese kitchen has a represent. Baz & Fred do pizza and THEbar takes care of your drinks. As another good example of the use of railway arches, and with the proximity of Tate Modern and Borough Market, this looks like a place that’s there to stay.
